Welcome to my fabled kitchen where I tell stories through the recipes I've collected from family. I'm Jessica Rose, a lover of food, family and good stories. I started collecting family recipes in 2016 and transcribing them 2020 in hopes to bring the recipes to life in the form of a cookbook for my family. In that I started thinking about what other people have for recipes and stories from their families and wanted to share my passion with others.
Every recipe has a story, especially the ones with crudely written cursive or layers of decades of usage. I'm here to help you bring those recipes back to life in your kitchen and maybe find some stories and traditions of your own.

My name is Jessica Rose
I began blogging in 2016, chronicling the adventures with my chosen family. I quickly realized everything revolved around food, so I decided to pivot in 2019 and began focusing on food. I had a flare-up of chronic illnesses that took me out of commission for nearly 2 years. I got back into the kitchen in 2023; starting Fabled Kitchen as a piece of my company Fabled Reverie LLC in May 2024.
